Following Your Intuition to Become a Python Huntress—with Amy Siewe - 207

Do you trust your intuition? What if it told you to take a significant pay cut and move across the country to hunt snakes?

Would you be willing to follow your gut if it didn’t make sense on paper?

Python Huntress Amy Siewe is one of 100 people (15 of whom are women) hired to capture and euthanize the invasive Burmese pythons that are destroying the South Florida ecosystem.

Amy left a successful career as a real estate broker in Indiana and followed her intuition to the Everglades, where she’s caught hundreds of pythons and is pioneering the invasive python leather industry.

On this episode of Wickedly Smart Women, Amy joins Anjel to share the AHA moment when she realized that real estate was not her purpose and challenge us to trust our intuition, even when we don’t like what it has to say.

Amy explains how she learned about the Burmese python problem in South Florida, describing how the snakes became an invasive species and what inspired her to become a python huntress.

Listen in for insight on being open to your purpose without chasing it and learn how Amy’s products honor the beauty of the Burmese pythons and give them new life!
